I don’t mind all the guys skating with my girl.
It’s fine, I know them all pretty well.
And I know sometimes I must get out on the ice.
Gonna leaf her behind where these leafs are alright!
/apologies to pete townshend

That’s because it’s not a letter, it’s a number. The number of times Ottawa has lifted the cup.

Also the amount of times the Sens have beat the Leafs in the playoffs.
Granted it’s only happened 4 times...

I’ve finally accepted that a mathematical possibility isn’t reality. No Habs in the playoffs this year. I’ll find myself oddly cheering for the Avs to win against the Habs when I’m at the game in a couple of weeks. At least I could enjoy some Avs playoffs, if they make it.

I think the biggest comeback ever from the halfway mark is eleven games or thereabouts... they left that mark in the dust 10 games ago and are still 10 points out of the wild card. Trouble is, there’s four Metro teams pretty much tied for that spot... no way they’re going to all go sideways, and even if they did there’s still Detroit and Florida to contend with.
Literally the only way they make it is if either the Bruins or Leafs fall completely on their asses. Like NOW.
The Atlantic is so bizzare... 5 of the worst teams in the league and 3 of the best. Meanwhile all 8 Metro teams are within 10 points of each other
